Tianjin Ocean Freight Moving to Singapore

Customer Information: Mr. Chen;
Shipping Route: Moving from Tianjin to Singapore;
Case Summary: Mr. Chen from Tianjin commissioned Seapoe Relo to ship furniture and personal belongings from China to Singapore.

Singapore is a relatively developed capitalist country, known as one of the "Four Asian Tigers" and a popular destination for immigrants. It boasts high standards in education and healthcare, and with a large ethnic Chinese population, Mandarin is a mainstream language. Singapore has also preserved traditional Chinese cultural customs, and in terms of food, clothing, housing, and transportation, many aspects are similar to China. Moving from China to Singapore allows for a quick integration into local life, with no need to worry about being affected in daily life or work.

Recently, Mr. Chen planned to ship furniture from his home in Tianjin to Singapore. How to ensure the safety of these items became his primary concern, because among the items to be shipped were not only valuables but also many keepsakes. His greatest wish was to complete the cross-border move smoothly and safely.

Actually, it's quite simple—just choose a professional international moving company. Nowadays, many people settle overseas for reasons such as immigration, study, or work, and many need international moving services. For cross-border moves, professional companies have extensive experience, so there's no need to worry about service or safety. Seapoe Relo offers one-stop service from Tianjin to Singapore, covering everything from the initial item assessment to packing, domestic customs declaration and ocean shipping, and finally customs clearance and delivery. Professional staff follow up throughout the entire process, making it hassle-free.

Before the actual move, Seapoe Relo signs a moving contract with the client to provide greater assurance. The first step of the move is to schedule an on-site packing appointment. Seapoe Relo's team will arrive at the client's home on time with packing materials to provide on-site packing service. Below are photos from the packing day:

Seapoe Relo's on-site packing service goes beyond just packing items—before packing, the first step is protection. For clients in apartments with elevators, the team will apply protective materials inside the elevator. Additionally, protective materials will be applied to the front door, floors, door frames, and walls of the client's home. This is mainly to prevent scratches or damage to the house and property during packing and moving, for safety considerations.

During packing, different materials and packing methods are used for different items. For example, fragile items are wrapped in tissue paper to prevent scratches, cushioned with pearl foam for shock absorption, and then reinforced with hard cardboard boxes. Some furniture also receives specific corner and edge protection to prevent bumps and scratches during handling. Attention is paid to details during packing, and protective measures are properly implemented.
After packing is complete, items are loaded onto the truck and transported to Seapoe Relo's warehouse to await shipment. The items Mr. Chen shipped for this move measured 15 cubic meters after packing, and he chose LCL (less than container load) ocean shipping to Singapore, which is the most economical option. The subsequent booking, customs declaration, ocean shipping to Singapore, customs clearance, and delivery are all handled by Seapoe Relo—Mr. Chen doesn't need to do anything except provide the relevant documents. Upon delivery, staff will carry the items into Mr. Chen's home, remove the outer packaging, reassemble some simple furniture that was disassembled, and place everything in the locations specified by Mr. Chen. Finally, they will clean up and take away all debris generated from unpacking. With that, the move from Tianjin to Singapore is successfully completed.
